Sony PlayStation 5 Slim set to launch today, Blinkit offering 10-minute delivery in India- pricing and details revealed
Blinkit, an Indian quick commerce company, has announced plans to deliver the newly launched PlayStation 5 (PS5) Slim directly to gamers’ homes. This decision coincides with the release of the PS5 Slim in India, with sales starting at 10 AM IST today. By leveraging Blinkit’s 10-minute delivery services typically used for groceries and household items, the company aims to make the PS5 Slim more accessible to customers.

Apart from selling to resellers and e-commerce platforms, Blinkit is another service that Sony India seems to have partnered with to sell its PS5 Slim console in India. The console will be available for purchase today, April 5, starting at 10 a.m.
It will be sold in two versions – PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, priced at Rs. 54,990 and Rs. 44990 respectively. After ordering, customers will receive the PS5 Slim at their doorstep in just 10 minutes, Blinkit has promised.
In an X message, Blinkit founder Albinder Dhindsa announced: “PlayStation 5 with Blinkit. Launching tomorrow.”
This is not the first time that Blinkit brings new and trendy electronics to your door. In 2022, the Zomato-owned company started iPhone 14 delivery services, where the iPhone was delivered to your doorstep within minutes of ordering through the Blinkit app. Last year, it partnered with Apple retailer Unicorn to offer 10-minute delivery on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, both made in India.
